The evaluation was funded by AHMAC through the SIMC. The aim was to assess the quality and utility of the NMDS, determine if it meets current. The evaluation of the National Minimum Data Set (NMDS) for Public Hospital Establishments was conducted by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) for the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council (AHMAC).
